** WE MAGAZINE for Women Announces Fall Cover 'Girl' Jennifer Storm **

Fort Lauderdale, FL - In early July WE Magazine for Women ~ for busy women on the move, hosted an online competition to find the NEXT COVER GIRL to grace our Fall 2009 Issue. Our team of judges had to narrow the field from 88 entries to just One Woman!

In retrospect, this was by far one of the most difficult tasks our team has had to date. According to one judge, "I am just glad I didn't have to compete with these amazing women." Although it was a challenging task, the judges rose to the occasion and chose one woman who stood out among all the others. That woman is Jennifer Storm of the Victim Witness Assistance Program www.victimwitness.org. Jennifer Storm is the ultimate survivor turned thriver.

Criteria included business acumen, community service and life experiences. In addition to these qualities, Jennifer was chosen because her story was a particularly compelling story of triumph over tragedy! Here's an excerpt from her entry: "Jennifer Storm's first memoir, Blackout Girl, tells the haunting story of her downward spiral into addiction that began when she was raped at twelve-years-old. She remained on a dangerous, self-destructive path for ten dark years, until one day she awoke in the hospital after attempting to commit suicide and realized she needed help."

Jennifer's story along with 15 other inspiring women's stories will be featured in the Fall Issue. Another entrant, Tara Montague of Mary's Place Pediatric Rehab www.marysplacerehab.com will grace the back cover. Each of the 15 finalists will receive a Commemorative Cover with their picture on it.

Even though we could only choose one COVER STORY, we are featuring all 88 entrants on the WE Magazine for Women site over the next three months. Each of the 88 women will also be included in our upcoming WE Magazine Hall of FAME section for 2009!

According to Heidi Richards Mooney, Publisher & Editor in Chief, "I am delighted with the outcome. Jennifer emulates the Total Woman. She is a Busy Woman on the Move and Making a Difference in her world." You can check out the current issue of WE Magazine for Women here:
