Where does the time go? Seems like yesterday was Monday but the calendar says it’s Friday already. Dad always said, “Time is like a roll of toilet paper, the shorter it gets, the faster it spins.” Now that a day equals a week I’m starting to feel a little old.
Anyway, on Monday I was on WLNZ, the radio station at Lansing Community College, and what a refreshing change of pace it was. Instead of focusing on addiction and recovery, we talked about my time at school there and how it helped me become a writer.
Don’t get me wrong; I like to talk about recovery. It’s what I do—a lot. And I enjoy it. However, it was really great to talk about my days at LCC and the teachers that helped me hone my writing skills. While all my professors were great, there were a few that stood out. Aren’t there always? And it was fun to talk about them.

I have forwarded copies of all the interviews I have done for Fear: Feel It, Face It, And Grow to my publisher and hope they will show up here soon so you can hear them at your leisure. I know you haven’t heard them all, for many of them were done in markets far from home (yours and mine) and I’m sure you don’t get all the stations they aired on. It is my hope to get them all in one place so anyone can listen to them that might want to hear what I have to say about the book.
So keep stopping by, and watch for interview links, for I’m confident they’ll get posted in the coming weeks. In the meantime, I’ll keep writing.
