Philip C. Hemphill, PhD, LCSW

Philip Hemphill, PhD, LCSW, a twenty-five-year veteran of the addiction and behavioral health field, was recently the chief clinical officer of Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, Florida, responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, and directing of the company’s behavioral health and clinical services, incorporating cost-effective methods while ensuring the quality of clinical care.

Before taking his current position at Lakeview Health, Dr. Hemphill is a former president of the Louisiana Association for the Treatment of Sex Abusers and has served on the national public policy committee of the Association for the Treatment of Sex Abusers where he currently is a Fellow. He has published articles in the field of trauma, personality disorders, and addiction in journals such as Masters and Johnson Report, Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment, and Recovery Today and actively serves as adjunct faculty at Tulane University for the past twenty years, and assistant clinical faculty at Louisiana State University Health Sciences in the Department of Psychiatry for the past seventeen years where he teaches course on addiction, human sexuality, and sex therapy.
