Dr. Rick Capaldi has been a practicing family therapist for 40 years, working with children, adolescents and families, focused on childhood disorders, parenting and learning disabilities. Dr. Capaldi was a former adjunct instructor of Psychology at Saddleback and Irvine Valley College and assistant graduate instructor at Pepperdine University in their Marriage, Family and Child Counseling program.
Dr. Capaldi is president of Capaldi & Associates, an internationally recognized organizational development firm who’s provided executive management assessment and organizational development services for Carter’s, Federated Corporation, Macy’s Department Stores, Neiman Marcus, Bass Pro, Mervyns, First Team Real Estate, The Home Depot, Westin, Sheraton and Renaissance Hotels, Bloomingdale’s, May Co., Thrifty Snyder’s Drug Store and over 40 Police/Fire Departments and municipalities throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, California.
In 1993, Dr. Capaldi co-founded Outreach Concern, Inc. serving as President/CEO. Outreach Concern is one of the largest a non-profit, school-based, pupil personnel agency in the nation having provided counseling and support services to over 500,000 children, adolescents and families in over 894 elementary, middle and high schools throughout Southern California.
